inveazy how-to series: Accounting & integrations
Part 8 of the how-to series: invoices, vendor bills, and the finance dashboard — plus Admin → Integrations for Stripe, QuickBooks, SMTP, AI keys, and optional read-only reporting.
Part 8 of the inveazy how-to series. Where money documents live, and where you connect payments, books, email, and API keys.
Series: ← Previous: Blog, assistant & files · Next → Mobile warehouse & scanning
Operational documents create the trail. Integrations connect the outside world. Keep keys in Admin — encrypted after save.
What you will do
This closing core guide is for finance and Tenant Admins after setup, CRM, SCM, and hub tools are in place.
- Find invoices, bills, and the finance view
- Open Admin → Integrations for providers and apps
- Know where BYOK keys and optional reporting access live
- Know where to go next (Help and Features & pricing)
Admin → Integrations
Accounting screens
When Accounting (and Inventory) are enabled, money documents sit with supply chain work:
- Customer invoices — amounts you bill after sales / shipments
- Vendor bills — amounts you owe after purchasing / receipts
- Income & expenses — cash entries when you need them
- Finance dashboard — P&L and cash-style views from posted activity
Letterhead on those PDFs comes from My organization (Post 3). Stripe checkout links on customer invoices use your workspace payment keys when configured.
Tip: The finance dashboard is analytics. Posting still happens on the document screens and cash-entry forms.
Integrations overview
Open Admin → Organization → Integrations. Tabs you will use most:
- Applications — which hub modules are on for the workspace
- Providers — QuickBooks, Stripe payments, shipping / maps
- Email (SMTP) — outbound mail for the workspace when you override host defaults
- AI assistant — models and BYOK keys for the workspace assistant
- Sync status — QuickBooks sync health after you connect
- Read-only database — optional SQL login for Power BI / Excel (tenant-scoped)
Paid customer installs use your Stripe and QuickBooks accounts — not platform marketing keys.
Integrations → Providers → Payments
Stripe, QuickBooks, and keys
Stripe (commerce / invoices) — connect under Providers → Payments, add webhook URL as documented in Help, then test a checkout or invoice pay link before go-live.
QuickBooks Online Connect — connect the company (realm) under Accounting providers, then use Sync status when products, customers, invoices, or bills should export.
BYOK (bring your own key) — AI assistant and optional stock-image providers accept keys on the Integrations tabs. Paste once, save, and store a copy in your password manager. The UI does not show the secret again after save.
Remember: Rotate SandBox demo passwords and never treat sample logins as production credentials.
