inveazy how-to series: From subscribe to first setup

Part 2 of the how-to series: choose a plan on Features & pricing, get your {slug}.inveazy.com site, create your first live organization, and set up your profile.

Part 2 of the inveazy how-to series. How to go from Features & pricing to your own site, create your first live organization, and set up the account you will use every day.

Series: ← Previous: Welcome to inveazy — what you get · Next → Your company & public site

Demo is for trying the product. Your paid site is for real customers, real stock, and your brand.

What you will do

Post 1 covered what inveazy includes. This guide is the handoff from “looking around” to “this is our company install.”

  • Pick a plan and complete checkout
  • Open your new site from the welcome email
  • Create your live organization and admin account
  • Sign in and finish your profile

Still evaluating? Open Features & pricing when you are ready for your own site — keep production data off any shared practice workspace.

Choose Features & pricing

On the public marketing site, open Features & pricing (or go to /pricing). Every paid plan unlocks the full product. You choose how the install is hosted and how many operating workspaces you need to start.

Today, checkout is for inveazy Azure — we host the app and database for you. Self-hosted is listed as coming soon.

When you select a plan, the paywall asks for a few details:

  • Email — receipt, welcome mail, and first-login steps
  • Organization name — your company on inveazy
  • Site slug — becomes https://yourslug.inveazy.com
  • Additional workspaces — optional warehouses, branches, or divisions

Tip: Pick a short, stable slug. It becomes your public URL and stays fixed for that install so Shop and branding stay aligned.

Continue to Stripe Checkout. We never see your card number. After payment succeeds, we provision your private Azure install (app + database). That usually takes a few minutes.

Welcome email and your site URL

Watch the inbox for the email you used at checkout. Subject line: Your inveazy site is ready.

It includes:

  • Your site link — https://{slug}.inveazy.com
  • A first-time setup link — /setup/first-organization
  • Short next steps (profile, organization site, users, billing)
  • Optional SandBox sample login for training data only
https://{slug}.inveazy.com/setup/first-organization

Open that setup URL first. If the page says you are already set up, use Sign in instead.

First-time setup

The first-time setup screen creates your live organization and workspace, then your first administrator account. Fresh installs also include a SandBox workspace with sample data for practice — that is not where day-to-day operations should live.

Fill in:

  1. Tenant name — company or team name as it appears in menus
  2. Legal name if you use one for documents
  3. Workspace slug — locked to match your site URL on paid installs
  4. Time zone
  5. Initial administrator — display name, email, and password (with confirm fields)
  6. Accept the terms of use and privacy policy

Submit with Create tenant workspace. Then sign in with the workspace slug and admin email you just created — not the SandBox sample accounts.

Change SandBox passwords if you use that workspace

Remember: SandBox is training. Keep real customers, inventory, and invoices in your live workspace.

Profile after first sign-in

After you land in the hub, open Account → Profile (or the profile link from the welcome email).

Update the basics right away:

  • Display name
  • Photo / avatar if you want one
  • Contact details you are comfortable sharing with teammates
  • Password if you want something different from the setup form

A clear profile helps the rest of the team recognize you in notifications, assignments, and comments later.

What to do next (brief)

You do not need to finish everything on day one. A sensible order after profile:

  1. Business and public site details (company name, logo, contact) — Post 3
  2. Invite teammates under Admin → Users — Post 4
  3. Review Admin → Billing for your plan
  4. Connect Integrations (payments, QuickBooks) when you are ready — later in the series

What’s next

Continue with Your company & public site — My organization, branding, and what visitors see on your public pages.

For in-app reference anytime after you sign in, open Help from the hub.
