inveazy how-to series: Your company & public site
Part 3 of the how-to series: set My organization letterhead for documents, then Public site branding so visitors see your company — not a generic landing page.
Part 3 of the inveazy how-to series. How to put your company identity on operational documents and on the public site visitors see before they sign in.
Series: ← Previous: From subscribe to first setup · Next → Tenant Admin & users
Letterhead is for paperwork. Public site branding is for guests. Same company — two places to configure.
What you will do
After first setup (Post 2), your site works, but it still needs your business details. This guide covers two Tenant Admin screens that look related and are easy to mix up.
- My organization — legal letterhead on POs, invoices, and similar PDFs
- Public site branding — what anonymous visitors see at your URL
- How the public home differs from the signed-in hub
Admin → Organization → My organization
My organization (letterhead)
Open Admin → Organization → My organization. This stores the company profile printed on operational documents: purchase orders, sales confirmations, invoices, packing slips, and similar paperwork.
Fill in at least:
- Legal name — as it should appear on contracts and tax documents
- Logo — readable when printed on a PDF header
- Address and phone — remit-to and contact blocks
- Tax identifiers — where you need them on invoices
Use the letterhead preview on the page before you issue real documents. Incomplete letterhead produces incomplete PDFs. Set this up before go-live even if the marketing site is still rough.
Tip: Changing letterhead does not rewrite PDFs you already issued. New documents pick up the new fields.
Public site branding
Open Admin → Public site → Public site branding (path /admin/organization-site). This controls the anonymous marketing experience — guests at your organization URL before they sign in. It does not change signed-in hub chrome, and it is stored separately from letterhead so a marketing hero update cannot break PO layouts.
Admin → Public site → Public site branding
Paid customer sites should look like your company. On the General tab, turn off inveazy marketing extras you do not want (demo signup, platform pricing, Info docs link, stock capability strips). Keep the toggles that match what you actually offer publicly.
High-level toggles to decide:
- Use landing page — marketing home for guests, or lean toward sign-in
- Use blog — public blog routes and header Blog link
- Use store — public Shop when you are ready for B2B web orders
- Company display name — public header/footer and signed-in topbar label
- Use footer — stock contact/about columns or your own HTML later
Then shape the look:
- Brand & PWA — logo, favicon, theme color
- Home hero — headline, image, primary button
- Landing blocks — optional sections below the hero
- Contact / About — footer copy and social links
Save, then use Preview home to check desktop and mobile. Hard-refresh the public page if an old favicon sticks in the browser.
Remember: Blog posts are still written under Hub → Blog. Public site branding only decides whether guests can see the public blog frame around them.
What visitors see vs the hub
Think of two doors on the same address.
- Guests — public home, blog, shop, and contact when those toggles are on
- Signed-in users — the hub launcher at / every time, with apps and Admin
The Use landing page setting affects guests only. After you sign in, / is always the signed-in hub — not the marketing layout. That split keeps brand work separate from day-to-day navigation.
What’s next
Continue with Tenant Admin & users — invite people, assign roles, and choose which apps each person can open.
For in-app reference anytime after you sign in, open Help from the hub.
